Parents with poor math skills could be hurting their children.
U.S. researchers tested the reading and math abilities of nearly 300 parents.
Nearly a third of them scored below a grade 3 level on the math test.
That’s where the danger comes in; those parents were five times more likely to make a mistake when measuring out doses of liquid children’s medicine.
