Keeping elderly drivers on the road

There’s new experimental technology to keep older drivers on the road for as long as possible.

Researchers in the U.K. have started outfitting driving simulators with eye trackers and bio-monitors to understand challenges older drivers face.

They’re also developing navigation systems that would show the safest routes for older drivers, so that they could avoid left turns or highways.
