HAPPENING NOW:

It’s a parenting subject rarely talked about publicly, or even in the presence of the family doctor.
Bedwetting is often mistakenly viewed as being a psychological issue. A child is worried or stressed – or worse, too lazy to wake up and go to the bathroom. But experts say it’s actually a medical condition.
Children who routinely wet the bed at night are extremely deep sleepers; but they could have a small capacity bladder, or have a condition that produces too much urine.
There are treatment options: alarm sensors, or medication.
Fluid management should always be practiced, and raising the issue with your family doctor is also advised. Severe cases can continue into adolescence.
