Dick Clark’s health issues

Diagnosed in 1994 with Type 2 Diabetes, Dick Clark was very open about living with the condition.

But his slim, youthful appearance didn’t match the traditional image of this growing disease. Cardiovascular experts say it’s because Clark is someone who conquered his diabetes, working hard to keep his weight in check. Although he suffered a stroke in 2004, he made a recovery. Living to the age of 82 should be celebrated.

Dr Greg Curnew suggests people do one thing to improve their lifestyle every day for the next 30 days. It could be as simple as eating more fruits and vegetables today, taking a walk with your neighbour tomorrow, or playing soccer with your kids the next day.
