‘Add a Dash of Colour’ culinary tour of Parry Sound

Emily Vukovic travelled up north to showcase the culinary delights of Parry Sound.
The Add a Dash of Colour food tour started at Chef Henrie Bistro & Café in MacTier. Chef Henrie Thoeringer travelled to Austria to train, and now makes authentic handmade schnitzel, spätzle and more at bistro.
Emily then flew over to Wings Café at the Parry Sound Municipal airport. Opened in 2006, the café was originally for the businesses on site and flyers, but now they serve their homemade soups, breakfast, lunch & more to the public.
If you travel to Parry Sound and want world famous and award winning pizza, then head to Maurizio’s Pizzeria Inc, where they “don’t just make pizza, we make better. ” Emily got to try one of their slices and can confirm, it was worth the award.
Her last stop was a fish fry with the last Métis fisherman left on Georgian Bay, Bernie LePage of B. LePage Fishery.
