Infant body discovered in basement of Hamilton home

Hamilton police have confirmed that an infant’s body was discovered in the basement of a residence on Wellington St. N.

The body was found Thursday afternoon, buried in the basement of the home near Wilson St. A post-mortem examination will take place over the coming days to determine the cause of death.

Nathan O’Brien, 34, and Winnie Ensor, 24, of Hamilton have been charged with criminal negligence causing death and interfering with a dead body.
