The City of Hamilton’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the David Braley Health Sciences Centre will resume next week.
The downtown facility had been administering the AstraZeneca vaccine as part of the vaccine expansion into primary care settings.
But it was forced to shut down when the province halted use of that vaccine.

The city says the clinic will reopen on Monday and will administer Pfizer or Moderna vaccines instead.
The clinic is open to anyone who is eligible under the province’s vaccination plan.
On Thursday, the province opened up eligibility to anyone 40 and older.
Appointments can be booked through the provincial online booking system or by calling the provincial call centre at 1-888-999-6488.
