Halton police chase naked man on road in Oakville

Drivers in Oakville witnessed quite a distraction on a roadway Wednesday morning.

Halton Regional Police were chasing a naked man in a live traffic lane.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. near Trafalgar and Iroquois Shore roads.

This video was captured by a student being driven to school.

Police said the man was fully clothed when they went to arrest him on an assault charge, and he stripped down to nothing.

Officers tackled the man, who was then taken into custody.
