Empowerment Squared to open new facility in east Hamilton

A local group called Empowerment Squared is about to open a new 20,000-square-foot facility in east Hamilton that will help hundreds of newcomers get comfortable in their new community.

Empowerment Squared helps newcomer youth and families. The new facility will open this spring on Arrowsmith Road in east Hamilton.

The new facility includes a brand new gym, a kitchen, and a computer room.

The renovations to the space in the Children’s Aid Society building cost close to $1M but was paid for by donations. The open house is scheduled for Feb. 11th.
