Police seek suspect in armed robbery in Hamilton’s east end

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery Thursday night.

Officers say a suspect entered a business around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Barton St. East and Sanford Ave. North.

Police say the armed suspect demanded money from the lone employee, and ran eastbound on Barton St. East after receiving the undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during this robbery.
