Coronavirus numbers rising

First Published:

Despite clear skies and unseasonably warm temperatures, dark clouds continue to form over Ontario and Quebec when it comes to the Covid-19 pandemic. Ontario reported 491 new cases today which is the highest daily increase since early May. Once again, Toronto, Peel Region and Ottawa have the most cases. The scenario is even more bleak in Quebec where they are reporting 896 cases today.  That’s in addition to 698 positive cases Saturday. Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam has made it clear that this is no time to relax.  She’s urging everyone to take precautions and limit the number of people they are in close contact with.
