Local advocates say the City of Hamilton needs to stop shutting down homeless  encampments.

They say it’s “disruptive and inhumane” and leaves vulnerable people to start over somewhere else.

Homeless people say their tent communities make them feel safe, and packing up and leaving when the site is dismantled is stressful.
