Emily Vukovic spent another day touring locations on the Muskoka Maple Trail.
Today she started her tour at Clear Lake Brewing Co, who are serving up maple bacon poutine, and their Maple Espresso IPA, which is brewed on site.
The second stop was to Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery, who are offering maple syrup and cranberry infused fondue, sap water and other tasty drinks. They are have a Sugar Shoe Brunch experience, where you can go snowshoeing and then have a pancake breakfast. Or stop by and buy their maple syrup.
Emily ended her tour of the Muskoka Maple Trail at the JW Marriot The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa on Lake Rosseau. They have a breakfast of fingerling potatoes with leeks and maple, maple bacon and fried quail eggs, and later on in the day they are making maple wings, maple butternut squash soup, maple cheesecake. And if you are in the mood for a drink try their whisky sour. Something else they are doing at the JW Marriot Muskoka is a spa experience. Emily got a maple parfait pedicure at the Hydrospa Muskoka , but they are also doing a maple sugar body polish.
The Muskoka Maple Trail is a self-guided tour of over 20 stops offering all things maple. It runs until April 28th. Check out the website for more details.
