Youths attempt to rob Oakville pharmacy, Halton police investigate

Halton police are investigating an attempted robbery at an Oakville pharmacy.

Police say three suspects entered the Oakville Town Centre Pharmacy at 300 North Service Rd. West shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday.

The trio attempted to surround an employee behind the pharmacy counter.

The staff member was able to escape and the suspects fled the scene in a black Jeep Wrangler that was parked in front of the business.

The would-be thieves were not able to steal any goods from the store.

Police are hoping the public can help identify the three youths involved in the incident.
