The acknowledgements in Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s new book on hockey history may raise a few eyebrows.
Harper’s book “A Great Game” credits his now disgraced former Chief of Staff Nigel Wright for providing ethical advice. Harper writes that a number of staffers in his office helped with the book and there was minimal impact on their official duties. Wright has been under great scrutiny since leaving the Prime Minister’s office last May over his role in the Senate scandal. Wright paid $90,000 to cover Senator Mike Duffy’s ineligible housing expenses. Harper has stressed that Wright is under RCMP investigation in an alleged bribery and breach of trust scheme with Duffy.
