Woman rescued from car in pond

Hamilton firefighters have rescued a woman from a car that was partially submerged in water.

Her car drove into a holding reservoir near the exit ramp from the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and Mud Street just before 6:30am Monday.

Paramedics say she was trapped with only her head above water for almost half an hour.
