A woman has been rescued after falling and getting stuck in the Devil’s Punch Bowl in Stoney Creek earlier this morning.

Firefighters were called to the waterfall just after 10:30 this morning after reports a woman fell more than 6 metres. Crews performed a rope rescue just after 11 and managed to get the woman onto a stretcher.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
