Woman arrested in Tisdale shooting

Hamilton police are searching for a man, after another man was shot on Tisdale Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Witnesses heard three quick gunshots outside a small Jamaican grill after 5pm.

Police say the victim was seated in a car, when he was approached by the suspect and shot. He’s in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after the shooting, police arrested a 24-year old woman — Myia Keisha Brown. She’s charged with aggravated assault.

Police have also obtained a warrant to arrest 32-year-old Odain Orain Gardner of Hamilton. He faces charges for aggravated assault and discharging a firearm. Police say not to approach him as he may be armed. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
