Welland resident stranded after transit service reduced

Service disruptions with public transit are nothing new, no one expects to be stranded or have to walk a long distance.  A Welland resident recently experienced this. CHCH news reached out to Niagara Transit about the issue, they said the bus wasn’t canceled, but the service was reduced to an hourly schedule due to a staffing shortage.
