Waterloo students face suspension

Almost 800 high school students face suspensions this week in the Waterloo Region because they didn’t keep up-to-date records of their immunizations.

That number is expected to drop as vaccination records are updated and the students get their shots.

Ontario law requires students to be immunized against tetanus, diphtheria, polio, measles, mumps and rubella and records must be provided to public health departments.
