Premier Doug Ford will be making an announcement on whether or not schools will reopen to in-person learning.

Ford will be joined by Minister of Education Stephen Lecce and Health Minister Christine Elliott at 1 p.m.

Schools have been shut in Ontario since April amid a third wave of COVID-19 infections that has been steadily declining in recent weeks.

Last week, the premier asked for expert advice on whether or not schools should reopen.
