Urgent appeal for blood

The holiday season is a slow time for blood donations. Canadian Blood Services issued an urgent call for donors last week and while thousands have stepped up, thousands more are still needed.

We spoke to a Burlington woman who’s encouraging others to give in honour of her sister.
