Two years for locking kids in basement
Three members of a Stoney Creek family have been sent to jail for two years less a day, in an horrific case of confinement.
They were convicted last October of forcible confinement and failing to provide the necessaries of life after police found two preschoolers living in squalor in a tiny, unlit basement dungeon. Lisa Hepfner has more on Thursday’s sentencing.
