Two people arrested following break-in at Shoppers Drug Mart in Milton

Halton police say they’ve arrested two people and are looking for one more after a break-in Wednesday morning at a Shoppers Drug Mart in downtown Milton.

The break-in happened just before 3 a.m. in a plaza on Main and Martin streets. A freelancer told CHCH News that although the tires of the suspect’s vehicle were deflated, they still tried to drive off.

Police boxed the vehicle in and made two arrests. One officer is reportedly being treated for minor injuries.

No word yet on whether the Special Investigations Unit has been contacted.
