Two men killed in crash on Highway 401 in Milton
Two people have died following a crash between an SUV and transport truck on Highway 401 in Milton on Sunday night.
It happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway, approaching Guelph Line around 8:30 p.m.
Police say the SUV was driving reportedly erratically prior to the crash. Witnesses say the vehicle was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.
The SUV was pulled over to the right shoulder, partially blocking the right lane, when a transport truck crashed into it.
A 20-year-old man from Brampton and a 22-year-old man from Caledon were pronounced dead at the scene. The transport truck driver was not injured.

The vehicles were cleared from the scene early Monday morning. The highway reopened just before 7 a.m.
