Two arrested in Oakville for drugs

Halton police have arrested two Oakville men in relation to drug trafficking and possession.

On April 15th, police searched an Oakville apartment and found 30 gallons of a chemical precursor often used to make hash oil. Police also found 41 grams of cannabis resin and some cash. 45-year old Kevin Ropson and 45-year old Brian Gavin both face several drug related charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking. Ropson has been released and will appear in a Milton court on May 14th. Gavin was held in a bail hearing.
