Two additional arrests in 2019 Brantford double homicide

Police have made two additional arrests in connection with a double homicide in Brantford last summer.

Dorothy Lynn VanEvery, 62, and Larry Reynolds, 64, died after being shot in their home on Park Rd. S on July 18, 2019.

Police arrested 22-year-old Kareem Zedan of Pickering in March. He is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

 

On Wednesday, police announced two additional arrests following a joint investigation with Ontario Provincial Police and Brantford Police.

Nathan Lloyd Emlyn Howes, 30, of Brantford was arrested on Monday.

He is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and is scheduled to appear in court via video next Monday.

Malik Mbuyi, 19, of Toronto was arrested on Tuesday and is also charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

His count appearance is scheduled for Friday.
