Truck stuck under Fort Erie train bridge

A truck driver from Burlington probably wishes he stayed in bed this morning.

His transport got stuck beneath the Thompson Rd rail bridge in Fort Erie. The building supply truck was loaded with doors and windows.

Crews let air out of the tires to free it. The road’s still closed while the rail overpass is inspected for damage.

This isn’t the first time this has happened. Every few months a driver doesn’t look at the height restrictions and gets their truck wedged under the overpass.
