Truck driver killed in crash on Highway 7

One person has died following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 7 near Acton, west of Toronto.

Police say a commercial straight truck hit a hydro police around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says the driver was pronounced dead in hospital.

Halton Police have closed Highway 7 between Dublin and Crewsons lines and say the highway will remain closed as the investigation continues.
