Training explosive left on Air Canada jet

A transit police officer in British Colombia has left his job following an incident with a training explosive.

The device was used for a canine unit exercise in 2011, but was forgotten on an Air Canada jet for two days after training was over.

Authorities say the device was never in danger of exploding. The officer responsible for the explosive has since resigned.
