Toyota recalls nearly 700,000 vehicles

Hundreds of thousands of Toyotas are being recalled across North America, including 17,000 in Canada.

One recall involves a steering wheel problem that could result in faulty airbags in Tacoma pickups from 2005 to 2009.

The second recall involves an electrical problem that could activate the brake lights on 2009 Camry sedans and 2009 to 2011 Venza crossover SUVs. They could also get stuck in park.

Toyota says there have been no injuries related to the problems.
