Town of Fort Erie to open most spray pads on Tuesday
The Town of Fort Erie will be opening most of its spray pads on June 1.
The parks and facilities division is inspecting and getting the spray pads ready for use after the Niagara Region Public Health Department gave the green light to open spray pads.
The spray pads at Crystal Ridge Park and Stevensville Memorial Park as well as the multi-use water feature at Ridgeway Village Square will be open from dawn to dusk starting Tuesday.
The spray pad at Bertie Centennial Park (Ferndale Park) needs additional signage and will open in the next week or two.
Residents are being reminded that these facilities are not monitored by staff.
People should continue to follow public health guidelines, including physical distancing, frequent hand-washing and staying home if you feel ill.
