Torso Search Off

Niagara Police say they’ve ended their search for more body parts in the Niagara River after the discovery of a woman’s torso earlier this week. Police say they have completed their search, but will resume efforts if new information becomes available. Investigators are calling it a homicide, but say it has been difficult to determine where exactly the torso may have entered the water, and where the crime scene may be located. Preliminary post-mortem results indicate the torso belongs to a caucasian woman between 20 and 40 years old.
