Police have arrested and charged a Toronto man for being in possession of a loaded, restricted firearm after a disturbance at a Brantford skate park on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old — who refused to identify himself to the authorities — was also found to be wanted by a neighbouring police jurisdiction and in violation of a number of prohibition orders.

The incident happened at the skate park on Icomm Drive.

The man is facing a number of weapons charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
