Tiger-Cats’ new home for 2013
Updated A community meeting is being held tonight in Hamilton’s north end to discuss the next steps in the construction of the new Pan Am stadium.
While it will be the home of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats starting in 2014, the team still needs a home for next season. But today the team announced plans for a temporary home for several games next season. It has a “memorandum of understanding” which could see the team play its home games at the University of Guelph’s Alumni Stadium. It is not a 100 percent done deal but the team has reached an agreement with the university and now the university will negotiate with the city of Guelph. Sean Leathong spoke with fans and officials on both sides to get their reaction.
