Three youths charged after stabbing at McDonald’s in Hamilton

Three youths are facing assault charges following a stabbing at a McDonald’s in Hamilton’s east end Tuesday evening.

Hamilton police tell CHCH News a fight between a group of youths broke out around 6 p.m. at the restaurant located at 787 Barton St., near Lottridge Street.

Officers say one of the youths was stabbed and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Three youths, including the one who was stabbed, have been charged with level one assault, assault with a weapon and breach of probation.

Investigators say no other suspects are being pursued.
