Three people dead after early morning Niagara-On-The-Lake collision

Niagara police say three people have died following a collision in Niagara-On-The-Lake Monday morning.

Officers say the collision happened at around 3:00 a.m. in the area of Queenston Road and Concession 6.

The initial investigation concluded that a car left the road and struck a tree before catching fire.

The vehicle was engulfed in flames and three people were pronounced dead at the scene, despite the efforts of first-responders.

The people in the vehicle have not been identified.

This crash is still under investigation.
