Three firearms recovered, four people charged in Niagara Falls

Niagara police have recovered three firearms and charged four people in connection with a weapons investigation in Niagara Falls.

In August, officers began an investigation into the unauthorized possession of firearms at an address on Johnson Drive.

Detectives applied for and were granted a judicial search warrant for the home.

On Tuesday, the search warrant was executed and a silver revolver, sawed-off shotgun and .22 rifle were seized.

Police have charged Malakai Dilks, 32, Krystle Wallace, 30, and Tracey Wintemute, 59, all of Niagara Falls, with careless storage of a firearm, possessing a loaded regulated firearm and possessing a firearm without holding a license.

Jordan Wallace, 33, of Niagara Falls, was charged with careless storage of a firearm and possessing a loaded regulated firearm.

Officers say Dilks remains in custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing on Wednesday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St Catharines.

Meanwhile, Jordan Wallace, Krystle Wallace and Wintemute were released on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date.
