Niagara police have arrested a 22-year-old Thorold man after they received a series of suspicious person calls in early August.

Investigators say Oluwatise Feyitimi from Thorold was arrested and charged Monday with two counts of sexual assault and one count of attempt to commit an indictable offence.

Officers believe there to be additional victims and are urging them to come forward.

Feyitimi has been held in custody before his bail hearing on Tuesday.

Police previously reported three incidents of women being grabbed by a man who then rode away on a stand-up motorized scooter in Thorold.

Investigators believe Feyitimi to be connected to these reports.
