The province is urging everyone to celebrate the holidays only with people in their households

The province has released guidance on how to safely celebrate the holidays this year.

Premier Doug Ford says all Ontarians should stick only to their own households for upcoming holiday celebrations. Even if you live outside Toronto and Peel Region, which are currently under lockdown, you are asked to avoid big holiday parties or large family dinners and celebrate virtually.

The only exception to the guidance is people who live alone, who are allowed to join one other household.
