The Hobbit Celebrates 75th Anniversary

The famous book “The Hobbit” celebrated its 75th anniversary today.

A special ceremony was held at London’s Fulham Palace gardens. Actor Andy Serkis, who plays Gollum in the upcoming movie of the same name, was on hand. He read extracts from the J-R-R Tolkein book to 150 young guests. The children also enjoyed a traditional Hobbit’s second breakfast. Serkis talked about reviving “Gollum” after all these years.
