The Beer Store will be closing another 10 retail locations across the province, including five in the Greater Toronto Area.
Closures are set for day-end on Sept. 14 and include stores in Burlington and Hamilton.
Ontario’s largest beer retailer announced closure plans for 83 locations starting in May of last year, citing market changes.
“The retail market for beer is changing in Ontario and for The Beer Store that means making the difficult decision to close some retail locations,” said Ozzie Ahmed, The Beer Store’s vice-president of retail.
“This is not an easy decision and not one we make lightly,” the VP added.
Closures include the locations at 2020 Appleby Line in Burlington and 229 Dundurn St. S. in Hamilton.
