Teens in hospital after eating drug-infused edibles: OPP

Two teenage girls were taken to hospital after experiencing violent outbursts that may have been linked to drug-infused edibles.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to assist Oxford County EMS at a home in East Zorra-Tavistock Township around 9:44 p.m. on April 13.

Emergency crews found two teenage girls crying hysterically and acting in a “violent matter.”

Both girls were taken to a local hospital via ambulance.

Police believe the teens had ingested drug-infused food.

Members of the Oxford County OPP are continuing to investigate the incident and are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation.
