Takedown: The DNA of GSP

Takedown: The DNA of GSP follows former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre’s rise to stardom and gets full access to the fighter as he recovers from an ACL injury that threatened to end his career. The doc also includes footage from the biggest matches of his career, from his first attempt at winning the welterweight championship from Matt Hughes in 2004, to his defence of the title against his biggest rival, the trash-talking Nick Diaz, in 2013.

While GSP is a pretty reserved fighter compared to others in the sport, Takedown provides a candid look into his life outside of the ring and includes interviews with those that know him best, including his parents, friends, and training staff. Takedown: The DNA of GSP gets a limited release Feb 20 and will premiere on HBO Canada on May 10.

Takedown: The DNA of GSP is rated 14A.
