Suspicious Brantford fire

Brantford police are investigating after a suspicious late night fire.

Police say the fire started shortly after midnight last night on Park Ave. near Dalhousie St.

It took fire crews quite a while to put it out.

Everyone was able to get out safely but there are reports from the scene that one person had to be rescued from the roof.

Police say based on what the fire department told them, they have reason to believe the blaze was suspicious.
