A local man is dead following a two-vehicle collision in Norfolk Country on Sunday afternoon.

OPP say a pickup truck — driven by the seventy-five year old man — and SUV collided shortly after noon at the intersection of Villa Nova Road and Concession 3 in Townsend.

The man suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the SUV and two passengers were brought to hospital with undetermined injuries.

There is no word on any charges related to the fatal incident.
