Stunt driving charges on King St. W

On May 19, just before 4am, a Hamilton police officer was in the area of King St. W conducting a traffic stop.

The officer then observed a vehicle travelling westbound along King Street West which he believed was speeding well above the posted 50km/hr speed limit.

The officer then used the radar gun and obtained a reading of 109km/hr.

A 23 year old man from Ancaster has been charged with stunt driving. His licence was seized. His vehicle has been towed from the scene and impounded for 7 days.
