Six thousand students ran through Bayfront Park in an effort to end poverty.

Students from both the Wentworth Catholic and public school boards raised awareness and money toward ending child poverty in Canada.

“I believe that every one of us can do something to change and get change and when we look at the disparity in society and what’s going on I think that we depend on the charity but also the generosity of our neighbors,” said Brian Warren, executive director of Run-4-Change.

Run-4-Change is a national campaign that tries to give everyone a balanced playing field and give students what they need to succeed. People can continue donating to the campaign at www.start2finishonline.org.
