Toronto police are searching for a 35-year-old man from Stoney Creek who is currently wanted for sexual assault and say there may be more victims.

Investigators say that between June 2019 to 2021 the man allegedly engaged in an intimate relationship with a woman he met online.

They say he knew he was HIV positive at that time and failed to disclose his status.

Gabriel Matheka is now wanted for one count of aggravated sexual assault.

He is described as five-foot-eight, with a medium build, shaved head and no facial hair.

Police say he is known to use online dating apps and they are concerned there may be more victims.

Anyone who engaged in an intimate relationship with Matheka is urged to seek medical attention and contact police.
