Standing in the rain for a bobblehead

Call it bobblehead bedlam part two.

A throng of people stood for outside Toronto city hall hours in the drizzly gloom Friday to get a second edition of a bobblehead doll of Mayor Rob Ford. Some people cheered and chanted when the Mayor turned up. But others bought the “Robbie bobbies” as a memento of a very strange period in Toronto history. Either way, Ford says he’s humbled by the support.

This is the second batch of the bobblehead figurines modelled after the colourful Mayor. The first batch of one-thousand sold out quickly last month. The dolls are 20 bucks each, with proceeds going to charity.
